After over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry, holding multiple leadership roles including executive management, William C. Sharp, III (Tripper) was called to the home care industry . . . because he saw first hand, the difficulties of obtaining satisfactory caregiver services for his grandparents. This experience led him to create a company with a mission to help seniors thrive and live life to the fullest while giving families peace of mind.
Staying active in the community is important for Tripper. Since 2012 he has served on the Board of Directors for Cobb EMC including three terms as Board Chairman. He has also served on the Management Committee for Gas South since 2015, and is Chairman of the Fiber South management committee.
A native of Cobb County, Tripper and his wife Marlo live in Acworth with their four children. Tripper’s hobbies include coaching youth baseball, volunteering in the community and being Superdad for his kids. Tripper is a graduate of Kennesaw State University.
Linda came to Sharp Home Care as a healthcare professional with more than eighteen years of outstanding caregiving experience, including specializing in Alzheimer’s/dementia/ALS patients, long term care, rehab facilities, and private duty home care. Prior to Sharp Home Care, she served five years as a patient care tech at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital ER, specializing in emergency/trauma patient care. With her experience in patient caregiving and mentoring-training caregivers, Linda is dedicated to ensuring that our SHC clients are provided with compassionate and quality care and our caregivers have the support and training they need to be successful.
She received a certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) from Ivy Tech State College in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and later earned certification as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurses Assistant (CHPNA).
In her free time, she enjoys being around family and friends, planning activities such as travel, exploring waterfalls, mountains, beaches as well as staying involved in her community.
A highly experienced registered nurse, Candi serves as clinical supervisor for Sharp Home Care. She is responsible for initial client assessments which enable her to create a personalized care plan for Sharp Home Care caregivers to follow. She provides on-going supervisory visits to the client’s home to re-evaluate the client’s status and satisfaction as well as monitoring caregiver performance. Candi is a natural fit to effectively help manage and nurture the care we provide to our clients.
After graduating from Georgia Southern University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Candi started her nursing career as a bedside nurse at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in the Emergency Department (the seventh busiest in the United States). In 2009, she became the Patient Flow Coordinator (Charge Nurse) which entails overseeing 20-35 nurses plus ancillary staff in an emergency department that sees 300-500 patients daily.
Candi is the Mother of two children and spends all of her free time on various ball fields.
Charlotte came out of retirement at Tripper's request to work for Sharp Home Care. It was an easy decision. She was more than happy to help out in light of Tripper being her son and the boss. She knew this business was his heart, and she wanted to do her part in helping those in need of home care, live better lives and stay safe in their homes. Charlotte manages various projects here at SHC ... from staffing and social media to website design/maintenance and marketing.
After retiring from the computer industry, stories and characters that had been rattling around in her head since college (Troy University) got louder, demanding her attention. You can read about them in her books. Find them at charsharp.com or retail book stores and online book stores under Char Sharp, Author.
Charlotte and her husband, Bill, are the proud parents and grandparents of three wonderful adult children, five rip-roaring grandsons, and one enchanting granddaughter. When she's not working for Sharp Home Care or spending time with her family, you will find her reading or writing or shamelessly promoting her books.
